Nice! :D
I love seeing sketchbooks.
I love the rat with the marker. Not only do I like the concept of a rat marching along a wall, covering it in markings but also the markings themselves flow together really nicely.
Also, now's probably a good time to compliment how you draw letters. I'm genuinely kinda jealous at how cool you draw words and letters. You have a style that allows for some really fun and unique looking letters that are still clear and readable. If you don't mind me asking, what was your process when it came to learning and practicing drawing letters/words? Were there any specific influences/references?
I dont have any reference outside just trying to do graffiti bubble letters in my own style. Dunno how original it actually is, but that's as far as it goes inspo wise. As for the process, I just think a lot about giving some satisfying dimension, I use a lot of rounded off corners and angles, and placing them in a way that could imply depth even if it makes no sense. I also throw in a lot of dots and random shapes, I actually go out of my way to make words illegible bc its fun for someone to have no sense of what something is saying until you reveal it to them. Dunno how how successful I am at actually doing that but it 's definitely in my thought process when making letters.
@Zals Cool! I definitely appreciate you taking the time to respond, thanks a bunch!
